School Visit, Moray Crop Fields and the Salt Flats
What a busy day ... We departed our hotel this morning to head into the hills and visit a school that Trekkers and their travel partners Tourcan Vacations sponsors. We dropped off 2 suitcases of clothing and school supplies and our photographers guests also dropped off school supplies they brought. It was a great visit. Then we visited the Moray crop fields which are circular crop fields developed and built by the Inca and then Salt Flats where they mine salt. The salt crystalizes from water heavy with salt that flows from the mountain. Tomorrow the group travels by train to the ancient ruins of Machu Picchu. Enjoy todays selection of images.
