Monument Valley Photo Tour - Friday May 4th, 2012

A beautiful but totally different landscape to our previous locations.  From sunrise to sunset we had a great day of photography in Bryce Canyon.

We went out at 6:00 a.m. for a sunrise shoot, followed by a drive deep into the canyon photographing at numerous stops along the rim.  We ended up at rainbow point which is at an elevation of 9115 feet.  Then after lunch we visited Inspiration Point and a few other point locations, then finished our shoot with a short hike into part of the canyon for a different perspective on our location.

Tonight we had a farewell dinner at Ebenezer’s Barn & Grill Cowboy Club, were after dinner we were treated to a show by the Bar-G Wranglers.  It was excellent and everyone had a great time.  Also a special thanks to Dave and the group for an amazing surprise tonight.  It is so great to travel with such great people that over the years who have also become good friends  It made for a great evening and I won’t soon forget it.

Tomorrow the group packs up the gear and heads for Las Vegas Airport.  We fly out in the early afternoon arriving back in London somewhere around midnight.  It’s been a great trip, many images, new friends, oh yea and a couple of laughs.

Also a special thanks to Rick Pierce our motor coach driver, and the great folks at LD Coach Lines from Las Vegas, as always it is a pleasure to work with you.  Kathy I know you are always kept busy at the LD office, but you do a great job too.

Enjoy the images from our final day of the Monument Valley Photo Tour.  Dave and I thank you all for visiting the blog each day and posting your comments.  On this tour the blog was having an average of 1100 unique visits each day.

Good Night from Bryce Canyon, in Utah.  Dave, James and the Photo Trekkers.
