Vietnam & Cambodia Photo Tour
Siem Reap & Angkor Wat Cambodia - April 27th, 2015

Hello from the Photo Tour Trekkers who are now in Cambodia. Yesterday was a travel and rest day thus why no blog last night.

We flew from Ho Chi Minh City yesterday arriving here in Siem Reap just after 1:00 p.m. cleared customs and checked into our hotel. After a relaxing lunch the relaxing continued with some sorting images, and others napping and even I heard talk of swimming and a couple of massages. Photography can be hard work sometimes.

The rest was to prepare for our 5:00 a.m. departure into Angkor Wat National Park to photograph sunrise at the reflection pool near the Angkor Wat Temple. We then spent the remainder of this morning exploring some of the temple. We have two more days here to go back and visit other locations.

This afternoon we went into the market for lunch and a little shopping, (Barry H. check out the one pic of your happy wife today). Then this evening a dinner show with traditional Cambodian dancing.

Enjoy some of the images from our first full day in Cambodia.

This shot gives you and idea of how many people come out each morning to capture the sunrise. Our local guide Sky can be seen in the right hand corner.

Great photos: very diverse - serenity, laughter, creativity, colour and so much more to enjoy. Is it a coincidence that the stonework above temple entry resembles a bearded man's head? Thank you all very much for sharing. Enjoy tomorrow/today ????

Absolutely spectacular! I am very fascinated with the culture that produced this temple complex.
