Hello from Can Tho, on the Mekong Delta. We flew from Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh City today then drove out to the Mekong Delta. We visited and photographed some of the islands on the Delta, around just about every corner was another interesting image just waiting to be captured.

The weather is now much warmer compared to North Vietnam. While in Hoi An we met up with a local photographer Etienne Bossot, who took the group on a tour of a small village close to Hoi An. It was a great experience and all your help was appreciated Etienne.

We are now in Can Tho and early tomorrow morning will be boarding boats to visit the floating markets. Again this should make for some interesting photo opportunities.

Enjoy some more images from yesterday and todays activity. Good night from Vietnam.

What an amazing experience you're all having. Judging from the beautiful faces - young and old - these are friendly and happy people. We know a lovely Vietnamese couple with a restaurant here and they are just as nice. James, after all these years I've wondered who you reminded me of - "Happy Budha" is perfect. I have a couple of these happy little guys and will think of you whenever I look at them and rub their little tummies. lol Thank you for sharing

Hard to believe a week has gone by already. We're having such a great time. With temps of -33C at home, I think I'll stay here till rainy season in May. Fresh Mango and Jack Fruit and I'm good to go.
