February 28th, 2017 - Weekend with the Wolves
We had a great weekend in Montebello and at Park Omega photographing the Wolves. Usually a very cold and snowy time of year here we were met with a little more of a challenge with warmer temperatures and some rain. Our morning visit and tour of the park was good, the rain did not come until later in the day but timing worked out and even though we were a little moist we got some amazing shots of wolves and other wildlife within the park. Even the morning fog added to our shots!
The Chateau Montebello was our base and accommodations for the weekend and one could not ask for a greater place to relax and enjoy after a day of photography. On Saturday night we also held a evening shoot in the hotel experimenting with different photo techniques. I have included some interior shots provided by one of our photographer guests Yang Jail. Thanks Yang for the photos.
Thank you to all the photographers that joined us for the weekend it was great to travel and photograph with you. I would also like to thanks my co-host and Trekkers new Canadian wildlife photo specialist Len Silvester for joining us in Quebec for the weekend. Great to have you with us and very shortly we will be sharing you new adventures on Trekkers website.
