The eyes say it all, combine that with being a B&W image and you have the perfect India street shot. This photo of a mother and son was shot on the busy streets of old Delhi. Beautiful work Patti.

What a powerful image ... this is one of the guides who is also a former prisoner on Robben Island during Apartheid. What makes this shot so powerful is that he is standing in front of an image of the boats returning from the island when they were released.  A great image Brenda.

Lighting is everything. The morning light on the Stove Pipe Wells Sand Dunes in Death Valley, combined with shadows, two people for a reference point and many layers of dunes makes this a great photograph.  Nice work Stephen.

Sometimes getting as close to the ground as possible makes the shot, combine that with strong leading lines and you have this great image.  Nice work Susan.
