New York City Photo Tour - Saturday May 19th, 2012
Radio City Music Hall, Rockerfeller Centre, Times Square
Another day of New York Experiences. This morning we headed out for a photo walking tour of mid town Manhattan. We visited Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Centre, St. Patrick’s Cathedral and the City of New York Public Library. What a fun morning of exploring and photography.
We had lunch in Bryant Park then spent some time people watching. Bryant Park is this oasis of land, about the size of a city block, which located behind the Public Library. From reading to chess, ping pong and open air internet cafe’s the park has it all. Including lots of room for locals to come out and relax on a Saturday afternoon.
In the afternoon we visited Grand Central Station, and the Chrysler building. We took the subway back to the hotel, for some time to relax before heading back down to Time Square this evening for photos of the lights and activities. Over the last few days we sure have taken a bite out of the Big Apple and her well know locations.
Tomorrow we start with a morning shoot in Central Park followed by Little Italy and China Town. Then we will wrap up our visit tomorrow evening with “a Night on the Town Tour” We will start in the Meat Packing district visiting the High Line Park, which is a park created from old upper railway lines. Then head out on the Hudson to sail around the Statue of Liberty at sunset, followed by dinner in Little Italy then some night photography from the observation level of the Rockefeller Centre.
