  Wildlife and the colours of fall, who could ask for a better photographic combination and you could not ask for a more interesting place for the experience.  Parc Omega is known for it’s home to the wolves, but it also offers up great photo opportunities for black bears, buffalo, coyotes, wild boar and birds of prey.

   We have selected our timing to catch the beautiful colours of Mont Tremblant.  Combine this with water falls and the landscape of this region in Quebec we are in for a great weekend of photography.

   This will be our second tour to the Montebello, Quebec region, the last time was in the middle of winter.  Fall time offers such a contrast.  I’m excited about returning to Par Omega as on our last visit the black bears were hibernating so it will be great to photograph them.

   Our four day tour will begin Thursday morning as we depart from the Four Points Sheraton on Wellington Road and journey to Montebello, Quebec via motor coach supplied by the Ayr Coach Lines.   As we travel to Quebec we will make several coffee break stops including as time permits a few photos in Ottawa.

   Friday morning after breakfast we will board our motor coach and take the short drive to Parc Omega.  Once at the park we will change from our coach to a park coach that is equipped with windows that open allowing each photographer their own seat and ample space for photography.  Over the next few hours we will explore the park and the wild life including the bears and wolves.

   We will also have time to spend exploring the various walking trails the park has to offer.  Each trail is located strategically with board walks and the best opportunities to view and photograph the natural surroundings, animals and birds.  During each day in the park we will make time for coffee breaks and lunch.

   Plaisance Falls is located about five kilometers north of the village of Plaisance.  The 188 foot cascading waterfalls was once the site of a thriving mill town know as North Nation Mills.  Today little remains of the village’s bustling past, however the spectacular waterfalls and park that surrounds it has become a place of photographic opportunity and beauty.  The colours of fall will make a great backdrop.

   After our first day of shooting we will return to the Auberge Montebello for dinner and some time to relax and sort through our first day of images.  In the evening there will be opportunity for one on one time with James to review some of your images and talk about different editing possibilities. 

   Saturday morning after breakfast we will depart for a day of fall colour photography in Mont Tremblant.  This region offers up many photographic possibilities and our day will be spent exploring them. Beautiful rivers, landscapes and waterfalls.

   We will finish off the day with a visit to Le Chateau Montebello, this historic rugged hotel offers up some great landscape photography opportunities.  The history of the Chateau dates back to the early 1800’s and the grand manor house still stands on the property today.  The Chateau has hosted many historical events including the G-7 Summit not to many years ago.

   The end of the day will again be a feature dinner back at the Auberge Montebello.  In the evening we spend some time sharing some of images from the last two days.

  Sunday morning after breakfast we will board our Motor Coach, arriving back at the Four Points Sheraton in London around 7:00 p.m. in the evening.

  We are pleased to offer pick up in Woodstock, and open to accommodate other pick up locations enroute to our destination.

The cost of our Fall Time in Parc Omega and Mont Tremblant Tour is $695.90 per person (based on double occupancy) plus HST, single supplement an additional 170.00 plus HST.
