January 21, 2017 - Wetlands and River Cruise Cano Negro
The Cano Negro Wildlife district has an abundance of flora and fauna and is considered one of the richest in biological diversity in Costa Rica. A great variety of resident and migratory birds plus three different species of monkeys, also iguanas, sloths, turtles and caimans.
Today temperatures reached close to 28C but beautiful weather as we sailed down the river starting from Los Chiles sailing through tropical rainforests and marshlands. The trees were full of tropical birds and wildlife.
We are still catching up on the blog and hope you enjoy this selection of images from our 21st of January experiences here in Cano Negro. We are here overnight and have one more fill day in this district. Enjoy the selection of images and thanks to Alexa Coupland for sharing some of her images.
