March 9th, 2015 Iceland - Reykjavik & Blue Lagoon
Today was our last day in Iceland so we began our day with photography at several locations in Reykjavik before heading towards the Blue Lagoon and Keflavik airport.
A couple of key locations were the Hallgrimskirkja Church which is a testament to modern architecture and the Perlan. Perlan is a hot water storage system turned into a dual purpose arts and culture centre.
Then back out to the countryside for a few one last landscape shoot, then a relaxing afternoon in the warm spring waters of the Blue Lagoon before heading to the airport and flying home.
It’s been another great trip and I want to thank all the photographers that joined me on this trek and a special thank you to our coach driver Siggi Sveinsson for his great driving and contribution to the group and tour. We all enjoyed your company and sharing your love and knowledge of Iceland
That’s it for our Iceland blog, the group is now home safe after arriving in Toronto at 6:30 p.m. this evening. Enjoy our last post of images for this tour and don’t forget to check back next month as Trekkers heads to Vietnam.
