September 23rd and 24th Serengeti National Park

Well I’m almost caught up with the blog, today is the 25th and I’m posting our last couple of days of safari in Serengeti National Park. Wow two amazing days of photo opportunities and amazing animals. We traveled from Kenya to Tanzania over the last two days and are now experiencing the beauty of Tanzania. It is great that we have been able to experience both these amazing countries.

Our lodges are in the heart of the National Parks so it has been great for viewing and the scenery from our rooms. I’ve included a couple of shots in todays post.

Enjoy todays cross section of safari photos as we share our Serengeti experience.

This leopard was fast asleep and paid no attention to us,  after feeding on its kill

Here’s another shot and if you look to the right at 1 o’clock you will see how it drags it’s kill into the tree so no other animals will eat it.

That’s it for today’s post, we have now arrived at the Ngorongoro crater and will be here for the next two nights. Tomorrow we will depart 6:00 a.m. and descend into the crater for another interesting day of safari in a different environment. Good night from Tanzania.
