September 25th and 26th Ngorongoro Crater
Finally the blog is caught up ... we have a fast internet connection at this lodge which has made it very easy to post more images and share the updates of our Africa Adventure with you.
On the 25th early in the morning we left Serengeti National Park and drove to the rim of the Ngorongoro crater. You will see this on the first image which is a map of our tour route. We had time to relax and enjoy the lodge then at 6:00 a.m. this morning descended the 624 meters into the Ngorongoro crater, which is an entire eco system onto itself. Including a large cross section of wildlife. We packed picnic breakfast and lunch and enjoyed a full day explore this unique part of Tanzania. Tomorrow we depart for Tarangire National Park and the last image of today shows our route. Enjoy the selection of images from today.
