Arrived in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
Our Air Canada flight departed a little late this afternoon due to a computer issue. Time was made up and we arrived at 8:15 p.m. about one hour later than scheduled. Our motor coach was waiting and in no time we were checked into our hotel and ready to start our activities.
This evening we all met in the lobby of the hotel and walked down to George Street district for supper. Fresh chowders and cod seemed to be the choice of the evening.
The weather is a little cooler than what we left when flying out of Toronto today, it was 9 degrees this evening when we arrived, overcast and a touch of fog.
Tomorrow we meet and visit Signal Hill for morning our morning shoot, followed by a photo shoot at St. John’s Basilica, an urban photo walk. Then after lunch we will spend the afternoon visiting Cape Spear. We have posted a few images from our travel day.
This first shot was part of the group as we departed London this morning, we picked up more guests in Woodstock and then met other guest at the airport. We will post a full group shot tomorrow.
These next few shots are the view from our hotel of St. John’s and the harbour area.
The Group at the bar this evening while waiting for seating for dinner.
Our first dinner together, a littler later than planned today, but we all enjoyed the meal. Sue, Judith, Brian and Terry can be seen in this shot.
That’s it for this evening from our travel day to St. John’s, Newfoundland.
