Trekkers are home ...
Our flight departed Deer Lake at 6:25 a.m. this morning with a connection in Halifax to Toronto. As you can see in the images below we were treated to a beautiful sunrise as we approached the airport. I heard a few frustrated moans on the coach from the photographers that we were only looking at it and not shooting it. With such an early departure, the one and a half hour time difference, and a short time between our flights in Halifax we were back in Toronto by 10:30 a.m. this morning.
Message from Sue:
This photo tour covered a wide variety of scenery and life on the “Rock”. From the seas of the east coast, through the center of the island to the seas of the west coast, there was always something to photograph. Also, as many of the trekkers found en route, the Newfoundlanders were a very friendly lot. It has been a joy to share some of my favorite areas of the island not only for the photographic experience but also the sheer beauty of these areas. Sue.
The tour to Newfoundland has been great fun, offered up interesting photo challenges, and resulted in some great images. Thanks to all the photographers that joined Sue and I on this trek. And a special thanks to Sue for all her help, advise and contribution to images, and recommendations for shooting locations from her previous visit to the Rock.
We hope you have had fun following along, we have sure enjoyed all the comments on the blog during our trip. Until next time ... Sue, James and the Photo Trekkers.
