Tuesday Aug 4th - Brighton Palace - Royal Tunbridge Wells - Pier Night Shoot
Our second day in the South of England was spend touring along the coast, then visiting the village of Royal Tunbridge Wells and a night shoot at Brighton Pier.
Our first photoshoot this morning was at the Palace here in Brighton. This beautiful structure and grounds was built and given as a gift to King George IV. Interesting enough he never stayed a day in the palace.
Then on to the coast and Royal Tunbridge Wells. We had some free time in Tunbridge Wells. The village during the Victoria era was know for it’s healing springs.Queen Victoria was a frequent visitors to this area for the springs. Two of our group members Ray and Jette had the opportunity to meet up with cousins while in Tunbridge today.
Then after dinner we went out to the pier to do some night photography. There is plenty of amusements and lights on the pier to photography. Tomorrow we move on from Brighton travel along the coast towards the west, visiting Rye, Hastings and Dover then up to Canterbury for the next two evenings.
