Wed Aug 5th & Thur Aug 6th:
Hastings, Rye, Romeny Marsh, Dover, Canterbury & Deal
Tonights blog is for the last two days August 5th and 6th, 2015. It was a very late night on the 5th and an early morning or the 6th so sleep was required. So here we go.
The last two days have been beautiful weather and given us great opportunity to enjoy many beautiful locations that this part of England has to offer. When we left Brighton we traveled along the coast to Hastings, too the incline railway to a city look out, then carried on to the beautiful town of Rye. Later in the afternoon and a few country roads in Romney March we had a photo shoot at the remote marsh church called Fairfield. The unique thing about this little church is that it is located on Marsh land with little streams in the middle of a sheep feed. Great fun and nice backdrop for photographs.
We then carried on to Canterbury, for the next two nights. Today we were up early in order to visit Canterbury Cathedral, amazing experience and again it made for some beautiful photos. After lunch we drove back to the coast and the port of Dover to hike out to photograph the White Cliffs. Then wrapped up our day in the small picturesque village of Deal. Enjoy the last two days selection of images.
