October 1st 2014 our final day Venice, Italy
Our last day in Italy and it was for one more enjoyable day in Venice. It rained for the first time today since we arrived in Italy. It made for some damp photography but since we were visiting the island of Burano the overcast skies made for great colour. Burano is a small fishing village also know for the lacework they produce. So the rain only enhanced our visit.
We returned to Venice around 3:00 p.m. this afternoon and enjoyed some free time before meeting for our farewell dinner this evening at a Venice eating establishment called VinoVino. Great food, great fun, good company and a little wine too.
Tomorrow we begin our journey home. We fly out of Venice in the afternoon and will arrive home late afternoon. Enjoy our last series of images from Italy and thanks to everyone that followed our blog from home. Good night from the Trekkers in Italy.
