Tuesday May 01st, Monument Valley - Travel day to Arches,
Another spectacular sunrise this morning in Monument Valley. There was a wisp of clouds in the sky and a light morning mist to add to our photography. You could find members of our group at various locations around the hotel. If we have not mentioned it before, the hotel is located within the valley and there is nothing else around it for miles.
After breakfast we took our last photographs, boarded the coach and departed for Arches National Park in Moab, Utah our drive was 3 1/2 hours. We arrived in good time for lunch and an afternoon photo shoot and hike. This afternoon we did Park Avenue trail.
Tomorrow morning we will leave the hotel at 6:00 a.m. for sunrise photography within Arches National Park. Then later in the morning we head back into the park for a hike and photo shoot at Landscape Arch, and in the afternoon a hike and photo shoot at Delicate Arch.
Below are the images from this mornings sunrise in Monument Valley, which are monumental ... and our afternoon hike and shoot once we arrived at Arches National Park. Enjoy the images and good night from all the Photo Trekkers now in Moab, Utah. We have finished off todays blog post with some fun images shot on the trip so far.
