Today was a very full day on the tour. We were up and out at 6:00 a.m. for more sunrise photos inside Arches. Yesterday it was a very short window of light, this morning was really beautiful.
After breakfast we departed for our 300 mile leg of the journey heading to Bryce Canyon. Our first stop was about 28 miles from Arches and was the photo stop surprise on the tour, which was a visit to Dead Horse Canyon. This amazing canyon is over 2000 feet in depth and has the Colorado River running through the centre of it. Located in Dead Horse Canyon State Park it offered up many interesting views and was a great surprise and addition to their tour portfolio of images.
From Dead Horse Canyon we hit the road traveling most of the day to arrive at Red Canyon at 3:30 p.m. this afternoon. We spent some time photographing the red Hoodoos up close before continuing on to Bryce Canyon. We checked into our hotel, had supper and then went into the canyon to photograph the sunset. This was also the groups first view of this breath taking canyon.
That’s it for tonights report, we are heading back into the park at 6:00 a.m. for a morning sunrise shoot, then after breakfast back into the park to continuing our photo shoot. Tomorrow night will also be our farewell dinner which will be held at a Cowboy Club here in Bryce. Enjoy the images from today and good night from Bryce Canyon.

Goodness, where has all the time gone!!! Last day and you will be on your way home tomorrow on Saturday. Hope you all have a grand farewell banquet tonight and what camera stops you have tomorrow on your way to the airport - I'm sure you'll fill up those cards with one final shutter binge...
