Photo Tour Trekkers depart for Machu Picchu on Monday November 2nd and you are invited to follow our photo blog. Our group of photographers travel to Toronto on Sunday afternoon then depart on an early Monday morning flight to Peru. During our tour we will be photographing and visiting Lima, Cusco, Sacred Valley then we take the train up to Machu Picchu. 

Check back each day as we update with photos and images from our trek. Don't forget to leave us a few comments as we travel, it's always great to hear from home as we travel.

November 8th, 2015 - Photographing and Exploring Lima

November 7th, 2015 - Cusco, Peru

November 6th, 2015 - The Ancient Ruins of Machu Picchu

November 5th, 2015 - Train Trek to Machu Picchu

November 4th, 2015 - Sacred Valley, Moray and the Salt Pans

November 2nd and 3rd, 2015 - Arrived in Sacred Valley

You will enjoy this trip. I had a good trip there a few years ago. I got altitude sickness at 8500 feet. drink the tea they suggest. best solution.

take time to absorb machu picchu. I did not due to time and wished I had.

Looks awesome. Yes the altitude needs some time to adjust for. Everyone looks like they are having a great time. What great scenery. I will be looking forward to seeing the pics.

Amazing experience for the Machu Picchu is a journey of a lifetime. Actually the are different routes to get to Machu Picchu, for example: Salkantay Trek, Lares, Cachiccata, Choquequirao, Inca Jungle and the trip to Machu Picchu by bus via Hydroelectric. For the trek Salkantay I would like to recommend walking sticks and mosquito repellent, rain poncho. However anytime you are going to salkantay make sure to have rain clothes with you.
