New York City Weekend Photo Tour -

                                                "Weekend of Photography ..."

Photography in the Big Apple
"Capture the sites and landscapes of New York City"

New York City, the Big Apple, the City that Never Sleeps, Gotham City ... and so on.  This has been a very exciting Photo Tour to put together and it is full of new and classic New York City Photo opportunities.

We will be visiting Time Square, Grand Central Station, Bryan Park, the Theatre District, the 911 Memorial and Museum, the Empire State Building and Rockefeller Centre. During our visit to New York we have prepared walking tours of several districts, time to explore Central Park and walk along the High Line Park. High Line Park is an old railway line that runs through the Meat Packing District offering up another series of unique photo opportunities.

“As a special feature of this special New York Weekend, we will be joined by photographer B. D. Colen, who for the past 16 years has been teaching documentary photography at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Colen spent 10 years working on a project on Boston subway riders, has worked for NGOs in Haiti and Liberia, and has had work published in numerous US newspapers and magazines. For those of you interested in “street photography,” having him with us in the international street photography capital should be a real treat.”

B.D. Colen and I are pleased to welcome you on our New York Photo Tour.  We know you will enjoy this unique experience and come away with many great images of the city.
