Costa Rica 2018 Days 5 and 6

Costa Rica Blog Day 5 & 6 Monteverde, Scarlet Macaws & Zip Lining
Our Costa Rica adventure continues as we travel from the wetlands to the mountain region of Monteverde. It took us about 5 hours to travel from the wetlands into the mountain region of Costa Rica, from beautiful to more beautiful. It is amazing in such a short distance how everything changes including the temperature. We visited a region enroute that is known for Scarlet Macaws and our visit was rewarded with some great photography of the birds. Late in the afternoon we checked into our mountain lodge where we will be for the next three nights. On day 6 we visited the cloud forest and explored the region including a hike in the forest and an option in the afternoon for zip lining. 4 members from our group, Karen, Bonnie, Susan and Brian gave it a go, we’ve included images from their adventure.
