Costa Rica Blog Day 7 Hanging Bridges, Humming Birds & the Quetzal
We spent today hiking the rain forest just outside Monteverde. The trail led us over numerous hanging bridges high about the rain forest floor. A beautiful place to spend the morning photographing and exploring. We were just about to the end of the trail when we were advised by some hikers we passed that 2 Quetzal birds had been spotted towards the end of the trail. With some hunting we found him and wee able to take some amazing photographs of this elusive bird, After lunch we headed into the humming bird gardens for some up-close encounters with the humming birds. This is our last blog post from Costa Rica as the group heads back to San Jose and flies home early Friday morning. It’s been a very rewarding photo tour, as the group comes home with some great photos, memories of a good time and new friends.
