Today we started our drive back to Reykjavik for our final day in Iceland. As we traveled southwest we visited a couple of waterfalls, some steam vents and a chance to photograph some Icelandic horses and a new pony.
We have most of tomorrow to enjoy Reykjavik as our flight does not leave until 5:00 p.m. in the evening. We are staying right in the centre of downtown so it is really easy to get around.
Here are a few images from today’s travels. We will post one more wrap up post with a cross section of images once we get home.
Vanessa, it’s been great to have you on the tour as my co-host, everyone in the group has enjoyed having you with us. I look forward to traveling with you on future Trekkers Tours.
Interesting skies this evening.
Another interesting sky shot as sunset approaches.
This shot was done entirely in-camera by Dean Robinson. It’s a combination of a reflection shot and shooting through a church window of Sanford and Ethel. Nice work Dean.
Our first waterfalls this morning. It’s called Kolugljufus, a beautiful waterfalls.

The water falls is situated in a beautiful cavern. You can see Vanessa shooting from the top.
