2013 Photo Tours
India Photo Tour - Feb 2013 - Day in Delhi
Today is about faces ... what a busy day here in Delhi. The photographers spent the day visiting different areas of the city. Our morning started out with rain, which is rare for this time of the year. Plans had to be adjusted slightly as streets and markets fill quickly with water. The upside, beautiful light for colour and faces.
We took a walk around India Gate, the Lotus Mosque, the Islam ruins of Quwwatul and Old Delhi Market by rickshaw. Each location was great for landscape opportunities and of course people pictures. Today it seemed that at every stop people wanted their photos taken, or even wanted us in their photos.
It was a great first day out and the group had fun experiencing the city. Tomorrow morning we head back to Delhi airport to fly to Varinasi, to spend a couple of nights before heading to the Mela Festival in Allahabad.
Below are some images from todays tour around Delhi ... it was all about the faces. Good night from the Photo Tour Trekkers in India.
