We had some time this afternoon to settle in, some took a swim others just relaxed and got things organized after our long journey, and probably a few naps. The group meet this evening for our welcome dinner. We recognized several of our photographers this evening, who are celebrating 10 photo experiences with Photo Tour Trekkers. Congratulations it is always a pleasure and great fun to travel with you all. We share some great memories.
That’s it for this evening, today was more of a travel update and to get the blog rolling by letting everyone know at home we have arrived safe. Tomorrow we depart for Keetmanshoop in the southern part of Namibia. We will arrive in the afternoon with enough time to settle in then hold our first official photo shoot of the tour in the Quiver Tree Forest at Sunset.
Enjoy a few images from our journey over the last few days. Good night from James and all the Photo Tour Trekkers in Windhoek, Namibia.

There’s a history to this image. Susan jokes that she never reads the Photographer’s Guide Book that each guest receives prior to our tour. So history has seen Susan ask James what time are we to be at a location, or what time is dinner, etc. She has asked so many times over the different treks he would jokingly respond by saying RTFM (Read the F--- Manual). So for this trip she had a shirt made to save him the time of saying it!!!!. Tom just smile and nod your head.
Speaking of manuals, Dan and Joyce catching up on some camera manual reading time prior to our departure.
