Namibia Photo Tour
Monday October 28th, 2013

We were back at Kolmanskoop early this morning for sunrise and a morning shoot. In the afternoon we had some free time to relax and enjoy this ocean side resort. Later in the afternoon we visited the coast then returned to Kolmanskoop for one more evening photo shoot.  While out on the coast today we came upon some dolphins fishing and playing. It was very windy on the coast and the desert sand was blowing quite strong.

Tomorrow we depart the south coast region as we travel to Sossusvlei to photograph the giant sand dunes.  While in this region we will be staying at Moon Mountain Lodge. These beautiful stilted huts overlook the desert.

I’m posting a smaller amount of images today as we have an early start in the morning.  Tomorrow evening we will post more and more updates.  Good Night from Namibia.

More of the ghost town houses of Kolmanskoop.

The strong mid day sun made for some great light patterns.

As I was walking through one of the houses I found this.  On of our photographers must of passed by here too.

Every house every turn another interesting image.

Some houses the sand has really taken over, soon you won't get inside.

This is the back door of one of the houses.

Love the spooky shots guys,... very timely I must say!! Nancy you should have swam in the ocean after your sand scrub! James it's nice to see that the "Trekker" tradition has continued from pebbles in Ireland, to sand in Namibia.
Enjoy the weather guys, my furnace just kicked on again!
We'll all be watching,.....
