Another great day of Namibian Travel ...
After checking out of the Moon Mountain Lodge we drove to Solitaire for fuel, snacks and then we were off across the desert towards Walvis Bay. We arrived in Walvis Bay around 1:00 p.m. to some pretty strong winds coming off the ocean. The rest of today was at leisure, this gave everyone a chance to catch up on image sorting, emails, or just to relax. We did notice some photographers out roaming and photographing.
Enroute today we encountered a herd of Zebra grazing nears the side of the road. The zebra we photographed today are called Hartman’s Zebra. They co-operated very well and allowed us to get some great images.
Tonight we held a birthday surprise party for Sue, its was great fun. This is a milestone birthday and it was great to celebrate it with you on our Tour.
Tomorrow we continue north, photographing along the skeleton coast as we travel up to Twyfelfontein Lodge, which is situated in the ancient Huab valley in the Kuene region of Namibia. In 2007 Twfelfontein was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
That’s it for this evening, enjoy the photos and good night from Namibia.

To wrap up this evening, we took some time to celebrate Sue’s birthday. Milestones are important and should be celebrated with friends. Happy Birthday Sue and a great place to celebrate too.
