Scotland Blog - Friday May 30th, 2014 - Isle of Skye to Outer Hebrides
Today we traveled up the coast on the Isle of Skye visiting Portree again this morning, and then stopping for photo shoots at the Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock and in the harbour of Uig.
We then boarded our ferry for the one hour and 40 minute sailing to the Outer Hebrides working our way towards our final destination of the day Stornaway, on the Isle of Lewis. We will be in this region for the next three days. Tomorrow one of our highlights will be visiting the Callanish Stone Circle. Below are a few images from todays trek.
The calm waters made for some great reflections in Portree this morning.

Dave makes and sells these ceramic pieces at Kilt Rock. A few folk at home soon might be in possession of some of his work.
A birds eye view at Kilt Rock.
As we travel further to the tip of Skye the roads start to narrow. The car that arrives into the passing lane first pulls in to allow the other car to pass.
Arriving on the coast, the outer Hebrides can be seen in the distance.

And to carry on our last photo theme on our Scotland blog, this is today’s something yellow.
