Scotland Blog - Tuesday June 3rd, 2014 - The Isle of Barra

We are now in Barra and have spent a very interesting day photographing around this part of the Outer Hebrides.

We've posted a few images from today and will do a larger post tomorrow evening as we have to depart to catch our ferry to the mainland at 5:45 a.m. So an early night is in order.

Enjoy a few images from today and we look forward to sharing a larger post tomorrow evening.

A hill top view near Dark Island this morning.

Our hotel this evening in Barra just as the sun started to set which was 10:00 p.m.

The colours of sunset picked up on the splash of the ocean waves. It was a beautiful sunset tonight.

One final shot on our short blog evening and keeping with the theme of this tour by finishing with something yellow. This was shot in harbour at Kisimul Castle this afternoon.

That's it for this evening and now off to bed to get some rest before our early ferry departure. By this way did I mention it's a 7 hour ferry ride back to the mainland tomorrow!!! Good night from Barra, Scotland.
