Polar Bear Photo Tour - Churchill Day One - Travel Day
Today the Photo Tour Trekkers departed London airport for our flight to Winnipeg, Manitoba. We arrived mid afternoon to temperatures noticably cooler than London. After a quick transfer to our hotel the group had some time to relax ... unless you were a certain Neil Young fan then it was off to visit and photogarph where he lived.
We met for dinner this evening and the group had a briefing on Polar Bear safety and the itinerary for the next week. After dinner it was time to relax and make an early night as our almost three hour flight departs for Churchill at 6:05 a.m.
Our next report will be tomorrow evening from Churchill, good night from all the Trekkers in Winnipeg.
