Vietnam & Cambodia Tour
Friday Feb 21, 2014

Hello from Hanoi, Vietnam. Today was a comfortable 17C and after almost 24 hours of travel we are off to a great start. This afternoon we visited and photographed various locations around West Lake in Hanoi. We enjoyed the photographing at various locations as we circled the lakes in electric cars.

Later in the afternoon we held a photo shoot in the old part of Hanoi walking through the markets and small store fronts. They offered up many photo opportunities. We then wrapped up our first day by attending a Water Puppet Show compete with a live orchestra and dinner at the Press Club.

Tomorrow we have a full day here in Hanoi, including an early morning visit to an old Flower Marker. We hope you enjoy the selection of today’s travels.

Thanks for posting James. Looking forward to following your blog. Beautiful sunny day in Sarnia but not quite as warm as what you are experiencing.

Great shots James, especially the ones of swan lake and the wiring. Reminds me a bit of New Delhi.

You packed a lot into a short time! Hanoi seems to have maintained some of its low-tech atmosphere, even with the texting and motorcycles!
