Vietnam & Cambodia Tour
Monday Mar 03, 2014
We are now in Cambodia. This afternoon we flew from Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap. It is a bit warmer here than in Vietnam so our pace has changed. Today we enjoyed some free time around the hotel and then this evening we visited McDermott Gallery, run by John McDermott. He has been photographing Angkor Wat for many years and his gallery is full of his beautiful images from the Angkor Wat Temples. Thanks John for your hospitality.
We had dinner in the centre of town close to John’s gallery and are now settled in for the evening as we have a 4:00 a.m. departure to photograph the temples at sunrise.
Starting today’s images is a group shot from yesterday’s picnic.
Cynthia takes some down time to play pool.
A wall of lanterns in one of the places we had dinner.
At the airport this morning, notice the workers sitting under the wing to say cool.
Watching the Oscars live at the airport before we took off this today.
