China Day 8- June 22nd, 2018 Chongqing City & the Giant Panda

Up early this morning and off to the airport to fly from Guilin to Chongqing. Chongqing is the largest city in the world with a population of 34 million people. Wow and what a city to experience. We visited the old quarter, a cultural centre, the People’s square and had a chance to photograph the Giant Panda. Then in the evening we had a traditional Chongqing Hot Pot dinner and later in the evening boarded our river cruise ship to start our 4 day 3 night cruise on the Yangtze river. We were treated to an amazing city light show as quite a few of the city buildings are lit up with moving LED’s at night. Now onboard the Century Legend we are sailing 607 km’s up the Yangtze river. This has just been an amazing journey to have traveled along with the Photo Tour Trekkers. So much great photography and the History that we get to see is truly amazing.

Absolutely fantastic! What a trip. It's "another" trip of a lifetime. Michelle, you are getting to have many of those. Can't wait to see the photos from the cruise.
