China Day 13,14 & 15 - Shanghai & Hong Kong final post of the tour

A memorable 3 days Shanghai outer small village then on to our Hong Kong experience and the last leg of our journey. This is the combined final three day blog post of our tour. Our last full day in Shanghai we visited then small town of Suzhou. Our first photo shoot of the day s was in Ou Garden also called the couples gardens. Suzhou is also called the Venice of China with many homes and businesses situated along the canals that chris cross the village. We also visited a silk spinning factory. Early the following morning we flew to Hong Kong. We are now in Hong Kong for the final three nights of our tour flying home on Monday July 2nd. Our first day we spent some time relaxing and enjoying the harbour view from our hotel and then this evening took in the laser show which lights up the entire harbour region of buildings synced to music. It was great to watch and photograph. The following morning, this morning we did a tour of the city including a funicular train ride to Victoria’s Peak for a birds eye view of the city. It was clear and worth the trip. Markets, beaches and fishing villages rounded off our day. Tomorrow is our final day in China and is a day to relax, enjoy our access to downtown and prepare for home. This is our final post of the tour and we hope you have enjoyed all the photographs including this final big gallery from the past three days. Happy Canada Day everyone on the 1st of July and thanks for following our China Blog. Check back on the 11th of August as Trekkers departs for Uganda and our adventure of photographing the Silver Back Gorillas.
