We arrived in Quito and spent the first three nights in the city. We visited various locations including the Botanical Gardens and took the cable car up an additional 1,400 feet to view the city. The forth morning we were up early and boarded our flight for the islands. We landed at the Baltra airport, meet our guide Omar and boarded our ship. Just our group of 15 and a crew of 9 for the next ten days. After lunch we visited the Isle of North Seymour. Frigate birds, blue footed boobies, land iguanas, sea lions and more. Enjoy the selection of images from our first few days, overnight we sail north to the island of Genovesa, the north most island in the Galapagos. The first image is a map of todays sailing and the second image is a large land iguana. Good night from the Galapagos Islands.
