India Photo Tour Day 2 Delhi to Sariska & our first tiger
Delhi to Sariska and our first tiger sighting ... We departed Delhi this morning and traveled for approximately 4 hours to Sariska National Park. We arrived in time for a freshen up, lunch and then on for our first safari. A short drive into the park we came across our first tiger. He was pretty lazy today given the temperature this time of year so we patiently waited by the watering hole. The tiger never came out of the brush but we managed to get one or two shots for the record. We did have some great bird sightings and tomorrow we are in the park again for two more safaris. This evening we watched the National Geographic video Tiger Dynasty which is all about the repopulation of the tiger in Sariska. It was great to watch and in a couple of days we are going to meet and spend time with the videographer who shot the movie for National Geographic.
