India Tiger Expedition Day 4 and 5
We are now in Ranthambore National Park and ready to start our next series of safaris. Ranthambore is one of India’s largest national parks and home to over 60 tigers. We will have a total of 7 safaris while visiting this region over the next few days and our May 4th evening visit and our May 5th, 6 a.m. visit were very rewarding.
Last night a male and female tiger and this morning Arrow a female tiger and then three cubs only 12 months only two males and a female yet to be named. We also had great success photography birds at one of the watering holes.
On the evening of May 4th before dinner we watched the National Geographic movie “Machli, the World’s Most Famous Tiger” filmed here in Rathambore National Park. Nalla Muthu the movie writer, director and videographer joined us for the viewing, questions and answers and dinner. It was a great experience for everyone to meet Nalla and hear first hand of his filming and experiences with the tigers.
