Painted Stork in flight
May 7th 2018 - Another Amazing day in Ranthambore National Park
We were up early and back into the national park by 6 a.m. the mornings are cool and usually a variety of activities in the jungle. Small birds, monkeys, deer etc. This morning we covered a fair amount of the region but had most of our luck around the large body of water. Most of the wildlife including the tiger don’t go too far away from water this time of year. When we went back into the park this afternoon we had no luck finding the tiger but then just as we were exiting the park Arrow Head made an appearance from the brush beside our jeep. She walked right in front of us across the road and back into the brush. She spent some time resting before heading deep into the bush. But as short as it was we did see the tiger again today.
