2018 08 31 Day 9 Tarangire Safaris Leopards, Lions & More 

We left the lodge at 6:30 a.m. for our first of two game drives today. It was a little cooler this morning and things started out slow, but by mid morning we were seeing and photographing activity on the reserve. A sleepy leopard started to move about and a mating lion couple made for an interesting viewing. Also hundreds of elephants, wetland birds and small animals. We returned to the lodge for lunch and then did an evening game drive at 4:00 p.m. until sunset. Tomorrow we depart Tarangire region and head towards the Kenya border for our final days in Kenya.
