Madagascar Day 2
Antsirabe

Today we departed Antananarivo and drove to Antsirabe. It was an pretty colourful drive filled with many colourful photo opportunities. Around 1:00 p.m. we arrived in Antsirabe. Known as the ‘Malagasy Vichy’ because of its numerous hot springs and thermal baths, Madagascar’s third largest city offers a bustling and gritty atmosphere. We toured the city on colourful pulled rickshaws - referred to locally as pousse-pousses. Then we wrapped up our afternoon by visiting the locals market place. Wow what an adventure. Tomorrow we drive to Ranomafana - a national park of rainforest which is home to various species of lemurs such as the golden bamboo lemurs, brown lemurs, birds, chameleons, frogs. Good night from Madagascar.
