What a great way to start the holiday season ...  we will depart from London early in the afternoon arriving in Owen Sound around 4:15 p.m.  We will have just enough time to visit Inglis Falls located just outside the city before sunset.

    We’ll then head into Harrison Park for a sit down group dinner at the Harrison Park Inn, followed by an evening of Christmas lights photography.  We will start with the displays in Harrison Park then visit the harbour front and follow the walkways along the Sydenham river through the centre of the city.  The parks, churches and river banks are all a glow and will offer up many photo opportunities.

     Whether you are a night photography beginner or expert we will be holding a mini workshop on time exposures and providing a hand out.  Don’t forget to bring your tripod for this trip!!!

      Owen Sound is located at the mouth of Georgian Bay, and over the last few Christmas seasons have been celebrating the holidays with the Festival of Northern Lights.  As we visit the downtown core and wander along the river that winds through the city you will hear Christmas music and horse drawn carriages taking visitors along the route of festive lights.

     I look forward to photographing and spending the afternoon and evening with you as we celebrate the holiday season with our 2nd annual Holiday tour and the Festival of Northern lights ...        

    We will be offering pick-ups starting at 1:00 p.m. from the Quality Inn parking lot in Woodstock, then 1:45 p.m. from the Sears Outlet Mall on Oxford and Wonderland in London.  We can also arrange other pick up points enroute to Owne Sound.  Please contact us for pick up arrangements.

   During the course of the evening you will have opportunities to photograph a multiple of  Holiday Lights locations around Owen Sound.  We will also have opportuny to visit and photograph the Christmas Lights down by the harbour and along the Sydenham river that flows through the centre of the city. You will also see horse drawn carriages at they offer rides through the city to enjoy the lights.

We will wrap up the evening with hot chocolate and coffee before heading back to London.
