Our first shoot this morning was along the river Liffey. Every foot and car bridge are unique and interesting to photograph. We started at the Beck Bridge near the new convention centre and worked our way along the river. The distractions were many as the side streets beckoned some exploring too.
We then visited Farmleigh house which is the former home of the famous Guinness family. It sits on 98 acres of land and was sold to the irish government in 1998. The house is now open for public viewing by appointment and is used for visiting dignitaries. One of the security gentleman told Dave he had a nice chat with our Prime Minister when he was here recently. A beautiful house with history well preserved.
Tonight we were at the Merry Ploughboy Pub for dinner, music, and Irish dancing. It was a great night of Irish entertainment, food and I’m sure a few Guinness’s were consumed. Tomorrow we will be visiting the Guinness Storehouse and brewing factory and one final photo shoot around Dublin City Centre. Enjoy a few images from today and good night from Dublin.

Front view of the house, Guinness purchased it plus the 98 acres in 1800's for 9,000 pounds. All 98 acres are still intact.
The estate is closed to the public when forgein heads of state visit as this is were they are accommodated.
