May 26th, 2017 - Final Blog Post Monnickendam & Zaanse Schans
Wow what a trek ... our Amsterdam and Netherlands tour has come to an end with our final day visiting the beautiful villages of Monnickendam and Zaanse Schanse. The weather was picture perfect and so was the landscape for our final photo shoots. The colour and backdrops made for an amazing final day in the Netherlands.
This evening we held our farewell dinner and packed up to begin our journey home to Canada. Here are some final images of our tour for you to enjoy and thanks to a great group of photographers that joined me over the past 14 days it has been great fun to travel with you.

Many colourful opportunities as explored the village streets. It was early morning so not to many folk on the streets.
Every corner was a post card.

This gentleman stopped us on the street when he saw a Canadian flag and told us a story of the liberation of his village by Canadian and Scottish soldiers and his dad sketching a photo of a Canadian officer for his fiancé in Montreal. It was great to meet him.
